Sweet, Sweet Autumn

Friends, today a great day. This is one of my favorite days of the year. Why today? I received an email this morning from one of my favorite companies with a special announcement.
It's that time of year again when the temperatures drop, the leaves change color, and the Virginia Peanut Company can ship their famous Chocolate Covered Jumbo Peanuts again!!!
The Virginia Peanut Company's Chocolate Covered Peanuts are THE BEST chocolate covered peanuts I have ever had. Seriously guys. I discovered them a few years ago at a craft fair in Maryland that my mom and I went to. Ever since then I excitedly await the day in October when they are released. They are so melt in your mouth good that the company won't ship them between April - October because they will melt in transit!
Their hand selected Jumbo Salted Peanuts and the covered in smooth dark chocolate to give them a unique salty-sweet taste unlike anything else, anywhere! Yes please!

Take advantage of this great news by using the Discount Code "Fall15" now through October 31st 2012 when checking out at www.virginiapeanutcompany.com and receive a 15% discount on all of your purchases.

My Weekend, In Snapshots

to see my weekend, on instagram (follow me @eeelishalynn)

Left to right, top to bottom:

1) Rockin' my new Minnetonkas at work!

2) After work on Friday evening celebrating Sukkot Shabbat with Temple Beth Or and the Raleigh Tribe in downtown Raleigh. I helped create some of the decorations for the sukkah.

3) First Friday inside the new addition to the Raleigh Times! Of course we ran into Iris who was there having a drink (or 5) with her friends! We were able to go up onto the roof top deck and are thinking it might be a perfect location for our wedding rehearsal dinner next October!

4) Saturday morning was overcast so Aaron and I went to the Colony Theater to see an afternoon screening of Perks of Being a Wallflower. The walls of the theater are covered in shag carpet in a crazy retro pattern. I'm not sure why...

5) After the movie we needed to recover emotionally and there is nothing better than Chinese Buffet!

6) Our first trip of the season to the Halloween section at Target. I loved these cheeseball Jack-o-lanterns even though cheese balls are GROSS.

7) Thinking about buying a new coat now that it has been 50ยบ for three days in a row. I have a hard time finding coats that fit well because usually the arms are too long in the size that fits me, but these coats are Target were so cozy and fit perfectly! I have my eye on you blue coat!

8) We ran out to pick up a few items at Food Lion and of course I had to show some love for my new favorite seasonal brew, Harvest Time from Big Boss. Go try it!

Friday Favorites

My new Thunderbird boat sole Minnetonkas! I have seen these babies on so many blogs and I had them save in my Amazon wishlist multiple times. When Skwisgaar chewed through my other pair of moccasins, I figured it was time for an upgrade. I love them!

Speaking of shoe loves, I came across these Madison Avenue Espadrille Wedges from Ruche. They are on sale!

This cute list of Autumn enjoyment found here. We have been enjoying numbers 7, 14, and 16 a lot this week. Next Friday we will be celebrating #17 in OHIO!!!

Weekly kitten cuteness! Image found here.
Aaron and I are going downtown in a bit to celebrate Sukkot and Shabbat with the Raleigh Jewish Community then meeting up with friends for First Friday! We don't have too many weekend plans except for visiting the Durham farmers market tomorrow morning and I have to return a coat to Old Navy.
Hope you have a good weekend!
