I keep entering our old zip code for Hallandale. Oops. 33009 is just easier to remember.

Despite the forecast for 104º weather, Aaron and I spent the morning at the Raleigh Flea Market and the State Farmers Market! It was hot, but we had a good time. At the flea market there was a vendor selling cast iron pieces and they were all piled up in trailers. I will definitely be going back to pick up some new accent pieces once we are ready to decorate the apartment.

At the farmers market we picked up a watermelon, yellow squash, peaches, a few ears of Silver Queen corn, zucchini, and the most delicious strawberries! Later, when we went to Fresh Market I picked up a wedge of brie to eat with the strawberries.  Yum!

Currently Raleigh

It is official. I just changed my current city on Facebook from Hallandale, FL to Raleigh, NC. I have a new NC drivers license, a hunger for Cookout, and a thirst for Cheerwine. Aaron and I are living in a new apartment in North West Raleigh, just off of Lake Lynn (pictures above). We have new furniture (for the first time!) and we both have new jobs. 

With all of the changes in our lives, I decided that it was time for a fresh start online too. This is my new blog where I will post photos and updates of all of the new adventures we will have here in our new city.
